Boys golf: Hagedorn shoots 39 to lead Lake Mills to second-place finish at home meet

Lake Mills’ boys golf team took advantage of ideal weather and local knowledge to shoot 167 and place second at its home Capitol Conference mini meet contested at Lake Mills Golf Course on Monday.

The L-Cats finished one stroke behind first-place Monticello/Belleville and one stroke ahead of third-place Lodi.

Lake Mills’ KC Hagedorn shot 39 to tie for third individually. Justin Stilling and Preston Thiede both shot 42 while Hayden O’Connor carded a 44.

For Lakeside, which shot 181 to finish sixth, Cooper Jensen shot 41, tying for sixth. Henry Moore and Kooper Mlsna both shot 46 while Jackson Moore shot 48.
