Eau Claire arena football team announced for 2025
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - An arena football team is coming to Eau Claire in 2025. The Arena League officials announced Friday that Eau Claire will join Hot Springs, Arkansas as the two new expansion teams next year, with Duluth (MN), Springfield (MO), Waterloo (IA), and Kansas City (MO) set as the four inaugural teams taking the field this season.

ALTOONA — On Saturday, May 11, the eighth-grade Spooner-Black volleyball team earned their way into the First Tier Tournament for the Wisconsin Independent Volleyball League (WIVL) by going undefeated this spring season. 40th Spring Fever to be held Saturday
The 40th running of the Indianhead Track Club’s Spring Fever races will be held Saturday morning in Altoona starting and finishing at Hobbs Ice Arena. The 5k begins at 8:30 and the 10k at 9:15 for $35 a race. Runners can take part in both races for a combined 15k for no extra cost. Defending champions from last year’s 10k are Austin John and Jennifer Reeves.
