Rusty Lakeside Pub to host grand opening
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – During Memorial Day weekend, Rusty Lakeside Pub opens near Barren Rive Lake. At 10290 New Glasgow Road, the pub opens on May 23 from 4 to 10 p.m. On May 24 and 25, the hours are from 2 p.m. to midnight. The kitchen closes at 10 p.m.

The Austin Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect they believe to be behind a series of commercial burglaries plaguing businesses along a busy stretch of highway in the city. The burglaries, which began sprouting up in April this year, have all been marked by a distinct approach to operation and a consistent description of the suspect. The area affected runs along US Highway 183 from IH 35 to FM 620, an important conduit for local commerce.
Drug Bust in Gordonsville Leads to Arrest and Citations
On March 24th, 2024 a routine “knock and talk” operation at a residence in Gordonsville resulted in the discovery of multiple illegal substances and the arrest of one individual. The operation was carried out by a team of law enforcement officers, including Sgt. Junior Fields, Sgt. Robbie Woodard, Deputy Levi Grigg, Deputy Burl Johnson, and Officer Ian Grigg, based on information received about drug use at the property.
New Policy in Effect for Visitors at the Tommy Garrott Aquatics Facility Outdoor Pool
The Tommy Garrott Aquatics Facility outdoor pool in Gallatin will open this Saturday, May 25th and there’s a new policy visitors should be aware of. Visitors are now required to sign a liability waiver before entering,due to an updated city policy. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. The waiver will be required each time you visit.
