Pedestrian killed in crash near shopping mall in Ocean County
A pedestrian was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle Wednesday night on Route 166 in Ocean County, authorities said. The crash occurred about 8:25 p.m . in the area of Stella Plaza shopping mall in Toms River, according to police. Police closed the highway for a time during the investigation between Lomell Lane and Mapletree Road.

Driver Ejected From Car In Ocean County Crash
BERKELEY – A man was injured after being ejected from his car in a single-car crash Tuesday afternoon, police said. Around 3:51 p.m., authorities received several 911 calls regarding a single-vehicle crash on Dover Road near the Lacey Township border. The driver, a 49-year-old man, was laying in the roadway ejected from the passenger side of a Ford F-150, which had extensive damage. Berkeley Township EMS also responded as well as paramedics, police said.
