La Crosse Regional Airport to conduct emergency training exercise

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- The La Crosse Regional Airport will hold an emergency training exercise on Friday, May 17.

The training is to test response and communication capabilities in an airport emergency. It will involve an aircraft incident with crew, passengers and emergency responders.

It will be conducted in partner with La Crosse County Emergency Management and emergency responders from the cities of La Crosse and Onalaska, the Town of Campbell and Brice Prairie.

Individuals near the airport may see increased emergency activity between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The training will not affect airport operations or flights.
