MAXATAWNY TWP., Pa. - The Berks County Coroner's Office pronounced a 67-year-old man dead at the scene of a two car accident that occurred late Saturday night. Pennsylvania State Police called to the scene at 11:44 p.m. Saturday say Jerry Gambler of Topton died after his vehicle failed to clear a stop sign at the intersection of Topton Road and Route 222 Northbound. Gambler's vehicle struck another vehicle which was driving on Route 222.
