Paul Kerr, 30, was sentenced to seven to 14 years in prison on Wednesday, April 24, according to the state Attorney General's Office. Authorities said Kerr walked into Pagan's Place bar on Jan. 7, 2023 and was asked to leave by the owner. Kerr "refused and proceeded to argue with Pagan" before exiting the bar, prosecutors said.

Man Charged With Stealing Semi After Traffic Stop for Seatbelt
(Reading, PA) -- A 52-year-old man from Connecticut is in the Berks County Jail for reportedly not turning in a rented semi-truck at the end of March. A state trooper discovered the rig was allegedly stolen when he pulled over Abdoul K. Conde on Interstate-78 for not wearing his seatbelt. The trooper says Conde had denied knowledge of the truck having one of its license-plate digits taped over. Officials say drivers sometimes do that to trip up license plate readers and avoid being charged for tolls.
