Two suspects have been cuffed in a cold-blooded shooting that rocked Frisco, Texas, last year, with one dead and another injured near a local Walmart, the Frisco Police Department has declared. The accused, 42-year-old Jhirrell Harris and 37-year-old Stephanie Gayden, both hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, face grave charges including capital murder and aggravated robbery in connection with the fatal incident that occurred on November 15, 2023.

Two indicted in Denton High student’s shooting death at Denia Park
A grand jury indicted a couple on murder and robbery charges Tuesday in the shooting death of a Denton High School student. Marcus Deshon Williams, 20, of Sanger was indicted on one count of capital murder. His girlfriend, 18-year-old Gabrielle Rose Cortes of Denton, was indicted on one count of aggravated robbery.

Denton police arrested a 33-year-old woman Tuesday after she allegedly drove drunk with two young children in her vehicle, according to a police report. Woman arrested for fentanyl-related murder in Denton
A 45-year-old Denton woman is facing a murder charge following a Denton Police Department investigation into a fatal fentanyl overdose. On March 25, officers responded to the report of an unconscious person inside an encampment in the 1900 block of Brinker Road. The victim, 38-year-old Shaun Cross, was declared deceased on scene, according to a news release from the Denton Police Department. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Cross’s cause of death as fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity.

A woman suffered serious injuries Tuesday when she was struck by a car while crossing a Lewisville road, according to the Lewisville Police Department. About 2 p.m., a 37-year-old woman was attempting to walk across Hwy 121 Business in front of the Northwood Manufactured Home Community, 402 East Hwy 121 Bus, when a driver was trying to enter the flow of traffic. The driver didn’t see the woman, accelerated, and hit her, according to a police spokesman.

Highland Village Police Blotter
The following is a summary of recent incident reports made to the Highland Village Police Department as compiled by the staff of The CTG:. On April 9, police responded to a reported stolen vehicle at The Shops at Highland Village and found a red Hyundai Sonata with a broken-out rear window that had been reported stolen out of Dallas the day before. When officers tried to stop the car, all three occupants got out and tried to run away. Two of the three suspects were apprehended. The suspects, a 14 and 16-year-old from Dallas, were charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, failure to identify and evading arrest. Police issued an arrest warrant for the third suspect. During the investigation, police learned that the suspects were planning to shoplift from the Bath and Body Works store.
