The Climate Prediction Center’s 8-14 day outlook shows very mild and warm weather across much of the country from November 11 to 17. The warmest signal is centered over the northern and central Plains and the Midwest. Some people may even keep mowing their lawns all the way to Thanksgiving.

Oklahoma's weather might actually feel like the fall season this weekend as you wake up to crisp morning temperatures in the high 30s and low 40s, but that feeling won't last long. Despite chilly nights and daytime highs barely expected to break 60 degrees between Friday and Sunday, the forecast for Veterans Day runs into a warming trend that will push temperatures well above average for this time of year. Here's what to expect as Oklahoma marches toward Thanksgiving in this unusually warm year. Cloudy skies and cool weather this weekend While Friday could be foggy with a chance of drizzling rain in some areas, the weather will clear by Saturday. The clearing weather will come with a short-term drop in the temperature. According to the National Weather Service, the high temperature in Oklahoma City will be around 57 or 58 degrees through Saturday. Overnight lows will dip down to about 38 degrees on Saturday night.
