Winterville Chamber celebrates new businesses
The Winterville Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of three new businesses in town with ribbon-cutting events in April. The chamber provided the following updates about the businesses. Carolina Family Pool & Patio was celebrated on April 6. They are an outdoor living, primarily pool and spa business expanding from Goldsboro located at 2323 Elaines Way in Winterville. Chamber director Rebecca Caveness, Chairman Alton Wadford and President Glenda White among others helped co-owner Zach Darden his staff and family mark the occasion. Lenoir County deputies seek public help to identify dirt bike theft suspect
The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect of a dirt bike theft that happened back in March of this year. Deputies responded to a home on Ben Dail Road in La Grange back on March 22 in reference to a dirt bike that was stolen. Video footage captured an unknown male removing the dirt bike from the property.
