Legendary wrestler gives Kansas City Chiefs star an open invitation to get into the ring

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is reaching a level of stardom beyond football.

That's what happens when you win three Super Bowls, three Super Bowl MVPs and two league MVPs. Everybody wants a piece of Mahomes, whether it's for commercials, business ventures or even World Wrestling Entertainment.

Mahomes was a guest on WWE's "Monday Night Raw" a few weeks ago along with his offensive linemen teammates Trey Smith and Creed Humphrey. While sitting front row, Mahomes handed his three Super Bowl rings to WWE United States Champion Logan Paul - who is Mahomes' real life business partner - to use as a weapon.

While on the "Pat McAfee Show" on Thursday, Mahomes said that he should have gotten into the ring and showed off his skills. While he was being somewhat facetious about it, it caught the eyes and ears of WWE's Chief Content Officer and legendary wrestler Paul 'Triple H' Levesque on X, who gave Mahomes an open invitation to get into the ring whenever he wants to.

WWE loves to blend their world with other sports and entertainment. Numerous athletes from other sports have gotten in the ring over the years, whether to do quick, physical spots or wrestle full-on matches. Most professional wrestlers have a background in other sports, particularly football.

It's highly unlikely that Mahomes would work a match, but perhaps he'll learn a move or two to execute. He could also simply just throw a right hand or swing a foreign object.

The Chiefs organization may not be too keen on Mahomes taking part in something physical such as professional wrestling, but whatever he does will likely be safe and easy should he choose to do it. Mahomes' appearance on "Raw" was a hit, so expanding on that down the road would be good business for both sides.
