The Kansas City Chiefs showed Travis Kelce just how important he is to the franchise with a lot of money.

So to show his appreciation, Kelce posted a video through the Chiefs social media account.

"Back at it again, baby," Kelce said. "Feels good to be in KC. I remember coming here 12 years ago, man. It's an honor and a pleasure. I can't wait to get after it these next two years.

"No better than right now. Getting fired up for this year. Just got out on the field with the boys. Doggone we're back at it baby. Chiefs forever!."

And the Chiefs played tribute to Kelce along with his famous girlfriend Taylor Swift, using the heart hands emoji to caption the post.

"Chiefs forever 🫶 Tell 'em, @tkelce!"

And it looks like Kelce's eyes might be a little glassy from the good news.

Throughout his 11 seasons, he has 907 receptions for 11,328 yards and 74 touchdown. Plus those nine Pro Bowl nods and four first-team All-Pro selections aren't too bad either.

And Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also had something to say, taking a moment to congratulate Kelce on this big day.

"I told yall I'll never let him leave!! Congrats my guy @tkelce," Mahomes wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

And this extension also makes it clear that Kelce will most likely retire as a member of the Chiefs. It'll keep him in Kansas City through the 2027 NFL season.

According to the Athletic , Kelce's will get a guaranteed $17 million in 2024 and his $17.1 million salary in 2025 is mostly guaranteed
