The Voice: Wellington, Jupiter singers land in final 12. How you can help them go further

A Jupiter teen sang what her coach called a "spiritual experience" on "The Voice" Monday, April 29. A Wellington woman chose her song because of "the home I've found in the Lord."

Coach Chance the Rapper found both of their performances heavenly. He chose Nadège, who claims Wellington as her hometown, and Serenity Arce of Jupiter as two of three performers on his team to move on to the live performances starting Monday, May 6. Viewers will be able to vote for the singer they like best.

Nadège, 26, sang a lilting version of Coldplay's "Clocks" with the lyrics "home, home, where I wanted to go."

"Your tone is rich like a cashmere sweater," coach Reba McEntire said after the performance.

Arce, 17, sang "Lose You to Love Me" by Selena Gomez.

"She comes every week poised and confident," Chance said of the teen.

Nadège and Arce are standing on the shoulders of Wellington's Cassadee Pope, who won Season 3 in December 2012. She was the first female to win.

The country singer/songwriter, ally and activist is playing SunFest on Sunday, May 5.

In 2021, at age 14, Arce didn't make it past the blind auditions but got some advice from then-judges Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande , who is from Boca Raton.

Both told Arce to keep working and to come back. When she did, every judge vied to get her on their team, including John Legend, who didn't turn his chair for her in 2021.

Nadège led worship at the Bible College at Oceans Church in Orange County, California, where she moved in 2020 and now lives.

She has graduated and is ready to move on to her musical career, according to her Voice bio.

NBC's "The Voice" cut back to Monday shows only in April but starting May 6, Monday and Tuesday shows begin again. Viewers will be able to vote overnight for their favorites between the two days.
