Junior man arrested on drug charges

JUNIOR, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges following the execution of a search warrant on Thursday.

According to the Barbour County Sheriff’s Office, in the early. Morning hours of Thursday, March 28, 2024, Deputies with the Barbour County Sheriff’s Department, assisted by members from the West Virginia State Police and the Belington Police Department, served a search warrant at Rail Road Avenue in the Junior area.

The execution of the search warrant resulted in the discovery and subsequent seizure of 3.21 grams of suspect
methamphetamine, as well as 5.45 grams of suspect marijuana and paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of controlled substances.

Authorities took into custody Hayden Joseph Poe – 22 years old of Junior WV – who now has been charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
