MLPD Seeks to Identify Walmart Shoplifting Suspect
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — The Mount Laurel Police Department (MLPD) is requesting the public's help in identifying an individual who is suspected of shoplifting from a Township store this week. MLPD patrol officers responded to Walmart, located on Route 73, on Monday, May 13 at about 9:24PM for a report of a shoplifting. After being confronted while leaving the store, she fled the scene in a vehicle described as an older model green minivan with an unknown license plate. Bronx Man Exchanged $200K for Cocaine, Fentanyl at Burlington County Rest Stop, Says U.S. Attorney
CAMDEN, NJ – A New York man pleaded guilty last week to possession of cocaine and fentanyl with intent to distribute, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced. Kedwin Ramon Then Gutierrez, 35, of Bronx, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Christine P. O’Hearn in Camden federal court on May 8 to an information charging him with one count of possession of cocaine and fentanyl with intent to distribute.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Gutierrez traveled from his home in New York on May 1, 2023 to a rest station in Burlington County, where he gave a box containing over $200,000 to Mauricio Silva Jr. In return, Silva gave Gutierrez a black duffel bag containing approximately 27 kilograms of cocaine and nine kilograms of fentanyl. Silva is charged by complaint and his charges remain pending. The count to which Gutierrez pleaded guilty is punishable by a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
