    Monday night storms leave downed trees and power lines in its wake.

    4 States – Thousands are without power due to a radar-indicated tornado. Winds took down countless trees which then took down power lines. Thousands remain without power across the region. Overnight the city of Joplin says potential tornado damage between 9th and 20th from Rangeline Rd to Duquesne. Reminder do not approach any downed power lines. Public works crews will be working to clear streets. There are no reports of injuries.

    Pittsburg, KS – Authorities in Pittsburg are searching for a suspect involved in an early Sunday morning shooting. 34-year-old Keith Mitchell of Pittsburg went to ascension via Christi hospital with a gunshot wound. Mitchell is expected to survive. Now authorities are looking for 34-year-old Steven Taylor junior of Pittsburg. They say he was last seen driving a blue-gray 2015 jeep compass with Kansas tags numbered 269scr. If you have information about his whereabouts, contact the sheriff's office.
