First look inside Enzo’s Pizza Co.

JOHNSON CITY, NY (WIVT/WBGH) – We have a first look inside a brand new pizzeria in Johnson City that’s built upon 120 years of Italian baking in our area.

Enzo’s Pizza Co opened its doors on main Street in downtown JC today.

It offers pizzas in 4 sizes, a 10 inch personal pie, 16 inch round pizzas in both pan and New York style and a 12 by 12 inch Square Deal sheet pizza.

Owner Olivia DiRienzo says the variety of sauces and toppings is what will really make the pizzeria stand out.

In addition to homemade tomato sauce, customers can choose white garlic, garlic parm or vodka sauce as a base.

The long list of toppings includes spicy ground sausage, carmelized onions and sauteed mushrooms.

Plus balsamic, pesto or honey drizzles for the top.

DiRienzo’s great great grandfather began a bakery in Binghamton and the 18-year-old has grown up making pizza at her father’s restaurant Amici.

“I’ve been working for my father since I was maybe 11 in there. Fully working, I’d say, is after COVID when I was really in there getting my experience in,” she says.

Enzo’s also sells pizza by the slice with a deal of 2 slices and a drink for 7 dollars.

Plus, it offers a variety of specialty pizzas as well as pepperoni garlic knots called Enzo poppers.

Delivery is available through DoorDash.

Enzo’s is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 to 8:30.
