    Detectives take two into custody from March 18 Jamestown homicide

    ( WJET/WFXP ) – Police continue to investigate a March shooting in Jamestown.

    The Jamestown Police Department Investigative Section, assisted by the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office, continues to investigate the shooting death of Trevon Tripp on March 18.

    Jamestown eight-month-old in critical condition after being shaken, strangled

    The investigation has identified several individuals that were involved in the homicide as well as physical evidence.

    William Hernandez, a 53-year-old from Jamestown was taken into custody and is set to be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

    Juan C. Rivera, a 35-year-old from Jamestown, was taken into custody on March 19 and was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

    The investigation is still ongoing and further charges are expected to be presented to the Chautauqua County Grand Jury at a later time.
