Chester Fishing Derby
The Chester Fishing Derby was held Saturday, May 11. It was a chilly morning with overcast skies, limiting the number of anglers. There were 29 kids registered. As in the past, George Wilson from the Chester Rod & Gun Club registered the kids and awarded prizes. This year, George was joined by Kent Armstrong, vice president of the club. Danny and I got the skinny on the rod and gun club’s progress on the damage from last July’s flood. Things are looking better.
Fourth Corner Foundation in Windham offers tour
WINDHAM-Nestled in the hills of Windham is the Fourth Corner Foundation, the brainchild of the late architect and artist Robert Foote Shannon. Shannon's work focused on balancing human-made designs with the natural environment. His former home, which includes striking buildings and structures as well as several acres of gardens, is open to the public.

LRC offers Ukraine aid
LUDLOW, Vt. – Ludlow Rotarians learned about local efforts to help children impacted by the war in Ukraine at the May 7 luncheon at DJ’s Restaurant. Past Rotary District Governor J.B.
