Ithaca Police Department announces upcoming vehicle auction

ITHACA, N.Y. ( WETM ) – The Ithaca Police Department has announced an upcoming vehicle auction that will take place at the end of this week.

The vehicle auction will take place on Friday, May 3, at three separate times and locations in Ithaca. The vehicles that are being sold are all considered abandoned vehicles according to New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 1224.

A list of the times, locations and vehicles regarding the auction can be found below.

Ryan’s, 217 Elmira Road at 9:30 a.m.

1995 Harley Davidson

Finger Lakes Wrecker Service, 154 Cecil Malone Drive at 10 a.m.

2003 Acura TL
2003 Honda Accord
2017 Kia Sportage
2016 Chrysler Town & Country

Charlie’s Towing, 215 5th Street at 10:30 a.m.

2008 Honda CRV
2018 Mitsubishi Outlander
2007 Honda Odyssey
2008 Chevrolet Impala
2014 Nissan Maxima

Those who plan on attending the auctions are advised that all payments must be made by either cash, cashier’s check or certified check.
