The Indiana Pacers were less than a minute away from upsetting the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, but gave the lead away in regulation before eventually losing in overtime. The Pacers have nobody to blame but themselves for this loss, as they had this win in the bag before costly turnovers gave the Celtics too many opportunities to force overtime.

The NBA has released their Last Two Minute Report for Game 1 between Indiana and Boston, which includes two big missed calls down the stretch - both of which happened to favor Indiana.

With 1:46 remaining in regulation, the NBA says Myles Turner should have been called for a defensive three second violation. This would have given Boston one free throw and possession.

The second and final missed call on the Last Two Minute Report came with 1:01 remaining when Tyrese Haliburton should have been called for a traveling violation. This missed call was much less consequential than the first, as Haliburton missed his three point attempt, and Indiana was called for a loose ball foul that gave possession back to Boston.

The NBA also broke their silence on a controversial no-call with 10 seconds remaining in regulation when Jaylen Brown grabbed Pascal Siakam's jersey as the Pacers turned the ball over. According to the NBA, "Brown (BOS) briefly grasps and releases Siakam's (IND) jersey during the throw-in and the contact does not affect Siakam's [Freedom of Movement]."

Boston now leads Indiana 1-0 in this best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals series.
