Caitlin Clark WNBA Preseason Debut Ticket Prices Higher Than NBA Playoff Game

Fans get their chance to see Caitlin Clark make her WNBA debut this Friday, when her Indiana Pacers travel to face the Dallas Wings to open preseason play. The game may only be an exhibition, but prices are currently higher than those for Thursday’s NBA playoff game in Clark’s new home city for Game 6 of the Indiana Pacers-Milwaukee Bucks series.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the cheapest single ticket for Fever at Wings is over at TickPick , where one seat in Section 209, Row MM at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, costs $59.54, with all fees included.

That price is comparable to many NBA regular-season tickets across the league. It is also significantly higher than the get-in price for Thursday night’s Pacers-Bucks game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, which is $36 for the cheapest single ticket on TickPick —the cheapest price as of Wednesday afternoon.

Seat limitations are certainly driving up the price for the Fever-Wings game, as College Park Center only holds about 7,000 spectators. It helps inform why a number of WNBA teams have upgraded their arena situation in anticipation of games against Indiana.

The Fever themselves will return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all of their home games this season, after moving to the smaller Indiana Farmers Coliseum over the past few seasons. The Las Vegas Aces and Washington Mystics already have moved their home games against Indiana to nearby NBA-size arenas to accommodate the fan demand.

Friday’s Fever at Wings preseason game tips off at 8 p.m. ET. Indiana follows it up with a home preseason game against the Atlanta Dream at 7 p.m. ET on May 10.

Clark will make her regular season debut on March 14 at the Connecticut Sun, and the Fever returns to Indianapolis for their home opener against the New York Liberty on May 16.
