Indiana Fever Coach Voices True Feelings About Caitlin Clark, Cameron Brink

The Indiana Fever have become a household franchise for sports fans. Prior to the 2024 season, the Fever were attracting just over 4,000 viewers per game and that's skyrocketed since the arrival of Caitlin Clark.

Clark hasn't just helped the Fever take a huge step forward, she has also been an influential piece for the entire league. The WNBA has benefited from Clark's immediate impact on and off the floor, upgrading various concerns as of late like changes in charter flights and security for WNBA athletes.

Fever coach Christie Sides spoke on the transformation that players like Clark and Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink are bringing to the table.

“They’re making a huge impact in our league,” said Sides, speaking on Clark and Brink, via ESPN.

Sides also commented on the performance of Clark against the Sparks. She helped the Fever advance to 1-5 on the season after their 78-73 victory over L.A. Clark recorded 11 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists in the contest.

“She was running our offense. She’s learning her system, learning her players,” Sides said of Clark. “She hit some huge shots and did everything we needed her to do.”
