One extremely lucky Illinois resident is the state's newest multimillionaire after a gigantic Lotto jackpot win.

According to an Illinois Lottery press release, the unnamed individual's ticket matched all six numbers as part of the Thursday, March 28th drawing including: 6-8-15-26-27-48. The winner obtained a whopping $5,450,000.

The fortunate lottery player was not the only one to benefit from the massive win . Sam Singh , co-owner of Prestige Liquor located at 345 North Central Avenue in Chicago where the ticket was sold, will also receive a bonus just for being the manager of the store to sell the ticket!

“This was a great surprise. We see many customers throughout the day, so anyone could be the winner. We wish the winner so much joy in life.”

When asked what he plans to do with the $54,500 bonus, Singh revealed that his wife is the real boss and that he would let her choose , to which his wife replied: "We will be sharing some of the bonus with our hardworking employees. They deserve it!"

Illinois Lottery mentioned that this is the second largest jackpot to be won in Illinois so far this year. The winning individual has exactly one year to visit lottery headquarters and claim their prize. Should the prize go unclaimed, the state will gift the money to public schools across the state in need of supplies.
