Syracuse men’s lacrosse advance in NCAA Tournament with win over Towson
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — After going on a nine goal run in the third quarter, Syracuse was able to pull out a 20-15 win over Towson in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Led by Joey Spallina and Owen Hiltz with four goals each, the Orange dominated the second half outscoring the Tigers 12-6 in the second half.

Teenager in wheelchair defies odds and plays lacrosse
EASTON, Md.- At the beginning of their season, Severn and Saints Peter and Paul Schools competed in a boy’s high school lacrosse game, and Caleb Krewson, a freshman on the team scored his first official high school goal, only Krewson is in a wheelchair. But head coach Freddie Wolters and the rest of the boys don’t see the wheelchair, they just see an athlete who works just as hard, and they say he’s giving them more than they could ever give him.
