    Contractor injured after falling over 15 feet into hole under house

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Officials say a contractor was injured Thursday morning after he fell into a hole under a home in the Five Points area.

    Don Webster with HEMSI told News 19 that they responded to a call about someone stuck in a hole on McKinley Avenue around 11 a.m.

    Deputy Fire Marshal Trent Bennett said the man is a contractor working on the home’s HVAC system. Bennett added that he fell roughly 15 to 20 feet.

    Webster says that the contractor sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Huntsville Hospital.
