Marshall Health to offer free sports physicals for middle and high school students

HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Marshall Health is providing complimentary sports physicals for middle and high school students on Thursday, May 30, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Marshall Sports Medicine Institute (MSMI), 2211 Third Avenue, Huntington.

According to Marshall Health, students must bring their completed and parent or legal guardian-signed West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission or Ohio High School Athletic Association physical form.

Discounted sports and camp physicals at $25 are available by appointment at MSMI and select Marshall Family Medicine locations.

Walk-ins are welcome at MSMI, Monday through Friday, 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m., and at the family medicine office in the Marshall University Medical Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You are asked to please bring all necessary documentation, including camp forms, insurance proof, and immunization records for students not under Marshall Health primary care.
