Upcoming Lake Oswego concert hopes to evoke light at church sanctuary
The Lake Grove Presbyterian Church hopes to illuminate its sanctuary through music during its upcoming spring concert. The concert, which will culminate the Lake Grove Concert Series, is titled “Illuminaire” and will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at the church sanctuary on 4040 Sunset Drive. Lake Oswego fresh produce program is undergoing transition
The city of Lake Oswego is looking for a new urban farmer to take over the community supported agriculture program at Luscher Farm starting in 2025. Laura Masterson, an urban farmer who has run the program since its inception in 2004, will depart from the role in 2025. Belgium nutrition bar company expands manufacturing in McMinnville, add 200 jobs
A Belgium-based nutrition bar company is expanding its manufacturing and packaging facilities in McMinnville, which will add more than 200 jobs to the operation. EMPWR Nutrition, a snack bar manufacturing and packaging company, received a $1 million grant from the state’s strategic reserve fund to support its plans to add 85,000 square feet to its current facility, according to a news release. The company said last year it was spending $20 million on the expansion.
