Man accused of threatening to kill family member
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Deputies said a man already behind bars for a prior crime allegedly threatened to kill a family member while trying to calm them down. Craighead County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause on Wednesday, April 24, to charge 49-year-old Gregory Dean Scroggins, of Jonesboro, with first-degree terroristic threatening and aggravated assault on a family or household member.
Police arrest man accused of putting drugs inside body cavity
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Police said a man who was arrested for driving with a suspended license tried to smuggle drugs by putting them in his rectum. Craighead County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause on Wednesday, April 24, to charge 51-year-old Steven Ray Parnell, of Lebanon, Missouri, with possession of meth or cocaine, tampering with physical evidence, driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked, and no proof of liability insurance.
