Insurance Intermediary License Revoked For Manitowoc Man

Wisconsin’s Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) has taken action against a Manitowoc man for his insurance license. Manitowoc school levy will cost about $1,316 on a $200,000 home

MANITOWOC – School board members approved a property tax levy of $31.4 million to help pay for the Manitowoc Public School District ’s 2026-27 budget. That’s an increase of 6.14% over the 2025-26 spending document. School district officials attribute the increase to a smaller-than-anticipated payment from the state. The board approved an equalized tax rate of $6.58 per $1,000 of equalized property value. This is not the amount property owners will see on their individual tax bills, which will use assessed value for the town, village or city in which they live. Administrators said the levy is made up of two parts: $30.6 million to support general operations, which include staffing, programming, student services and other day-to-day expenses. About three-fourths of the district’s spending is earmarked to pay teachers, administrators and staff. $739,467 to cover debt payments tied to a voter-approved 2025 capital referendum.
