COOLER WITH LESS SMOKE ON TUESDAY
The wildfire smoke we dealt with on Monday was drifting in from Canada. As a northeast breeze takes over tonight, the surface smoke should push south/west of the area and air quality will improve. Some haze may linger aloft for a time, but it should thin throughout the day allowing for more blue sky.

Organizers announced Monday the event would be significantly impacted by road construction on Highway 54 in and around Seymour. After grilling over the details they decided moving the dates of the event this year would be too difficult to manage.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Resch Center say the legendary rock band Styx will be performing in Green Bay soon. According to a release, Styx is now entering its second decade of averaging 100 shows a year and this time around will include a stop in Green Bay on October 11.
Several agencies respond to late-night fire in Wrightstown
WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say several agencies were called upon to help with reports of a fire late Sunday night in Wrightstown. According to a release from the Wrightstown Fire Department, crews responded at 11:40 p.m. for reports of a fire at a home on the 400 block of Fair Street.
Dept. of Veterans Affairs: Green Bay VA Health Care Center to host enrollment event for Veterans
GREEN BAY — On May 15, from 1-3 p.m., the Green Bay VA Health Care Center will host an informational session related to the PACT Act and toxic exposures. The event will include a Q&A session with Jim McLain, executive director of the Zablocki VA Health Care System, as well as representatives from the Veterans Benefits Administration, Veterans Health Administration eligibility/enrollment and toxic exposure navigators. Staff will be available to enroll new Veterans and to complete toxic exposure screenings.
