The AVCA has named its 2024 Beach Volleyball All-America Team, featuring Jaime Santer and Alana Embry from the University of Hawaii.

The pair earned second-team honors, marking their debut on the All-America list and becoming the 13th and 14th All-Americans in the history of the program.

Throughout this season, they competed as the team’s top duo in all 35 matches, achieving 24 victories, including multiple wins against ranked teams, particularly during their recent performance which contributed to UH’s Big West Championship victory.

Santer, a senior from Toronto, concludes her notable career at UH as a four-year starter and a three-time All-Big West pick, having competed in three NCAA Tournaments.

Embry, a sophomore transfer from Poway, California, made significant strides in her first Division I beach volleyball season at UH after an undefeated stint at Grossmont College and prior experience as an indoor volleyball setter at New Mexico State.

Currently, the Rainbow Wahine, seeded ninth, are preparing for the 2024 NCAA Championship Tournament in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The Beach Bows are scheduled to face the eighth seed LMU on Friday, May 3, at 7:00 am HST with the match airing on ESPNU.
