Home Maid Bakery announces closure of Lower Main location

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Community and fans of Home Maid Bakery were met with some sad news Wednesday as Home Maid Bakery announced the closure of one of it’s locations.

Home Maid Bakery took to their Instagram to announce the closure effective April 29.

They mentioned they had intended to keep their Lower Main location doors open, but unfortunately had to come to the decision to close for good.

They also announced their wholesale operations will end at the end of the month.

“While this marks the end of an era for our Lower Main storefront and wholesale operations, we are delighted to inform you that our manju and other signature products may continue to live on!”

The statement goes on to say the bakery hopes to serve their customers while they still can, and encourages everyone to visit before doors close for good.
