Marcotte Ford, Polish National Credit Union support Kate’s Kitchen

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Marcotte Ford and Polish National Credit Union teamed up to support ‘Kate’s Kitchen’ with a Guest Chef event on Tuesday.

Officers from both companies served breakfast in the morning, cooked up by the ‘Lug Nutz Café’ inside Marcotte Ford’s showroom.

‘Kate’s Kitchen’ is a program of providence ministries, serving a noon-time lunch to people in Holyoke 365 days per year. Anyone is welcome and no questions are asked, making it a vital piece of the community there.

The Executive Director of Providence Ministries Jennie Adamczyk, told us fundraisers like these are vital to their efforts, “Kate’s Kitchen is donor-funded. So having people step up and help us like this ensures that we are able to continue feeding our community.”

Kate’s Kitchen is open for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. every day of the year. They serve in-person Monday to Friday and to-go on the weekends. They also offer dine-in dinners on weekdays from five to six p.m. and are always looking for volunteers.
