MAHOPAC, N.Y.— Senior Danny Koch had a hat-trick and an assist, and senior Liam Scanlon added two goals, but it wasn’t enough last Friday night on Senior Night at Mahopac High School, as the Wolf Pac dropped an 11-6 decision to the neighboring Carmel Rams. Carmel jumped out early in the game and led 3-0 after one. Mahopac closed the gap to 3-2 by halftime, but couldn’t stop Carmel in the second half. It was the first time Carmel had ever beaten Mahopac in boys lacrosse.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER “We played tough,...

Fassert Almost Perfect as Wolves Clinch Title
CROSS RIVER, N.Y. - On Tuesday, May 14, a win versus Somers would give John Jay a share of the league title with Yorktown, so starting pitcher Nick Fassert put his team first. “I knew I had to come out here and perform for the boys,” said the senior. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The understatement of the year, it turned out.
