One person struck by vehicle in Hollidaysburg

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — One person was struck by a vehicle on Thursday in Hollidaysburg.

According to emergency officials, they were called at around 7:30 p.m. to Garber Street in Hollidaysburg on April 18. A firefighter on scene said that an older woman was hit by a vehicle, but could not provide any details about her condition. She was taken to UPMC Altoona.

The Hollidaysburg Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Phoenix Fire Department and the Hollidaysburg ambulance service.

Garber Street and part of Penn Street were shut down for a short period, but have since reopened.
