Voters in Norman County East approve $7 million bond referendum
TWIN VALLEY, Minn. (Valley News Live) - Voters have approved a bond referendum for improvements to the Norman County East (NCE) School in Twin Valley, Minnesota. Two questions were on the special election ballot for May 14. The first question, which asked for facility and system improvements, passed by a 354-108 vote. The second question is for upgrades to the gym, cafeteria and Career and Tech classrooms. Question #2 passed by a 341-122 vote and could only pass if Question #1 also passed.
Moorhead Public Schools providing summer meals for kids under 18
MOORHEAD, M.N. (Valley News Live) - Moorhead Area Public Schools is bringing back the summer meals program to ensure children have access to healthy meals this summer. Starting May 28th, children 18 and under can receive free breakfast and lunches at several school and park locations. All meals must be eaten on-site and cannot be taken home.
