Summer is just around the corner, and the Washington County Fair is preparing to turn up the volume with a jam-packed lineup of performers.

Taking place July 19-28, the annual fair will feature everything from electrifying rock shows to uncanny tribute performances at the West Side Commons in Hillsboro.

Kicking off the mainstage lineup, North Plains vocal powerhouse Jacquie Roar will belt out country songs on the first night of the fair. Roar made waves in 2023 through her time on the NBC singing competition “The Voice,” placing fourth in the finale. Since working with the likes of Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani, the Washington County musician has established herself in the country music scene.

On July 20, Taylor Swift fans can sing along to Red — a tribute to the vocal icon. Fronted by vocalist Lauren Corzine, the act will take the audience through the journey of Swift’s career with hit songs.

Paying homage to the Allman Brothers, The Revival Brothers Band will strike a nostalgic chord on July 22 with southern rock performances, and local AC/DC tribute Shoot To Thrill promises a high-voltage concert July 24, celebrating the rock and roll legends.

The multi-award-winning Petty Fever will also honor musical legend Tom Petty, featuring the captivating vocals of Frank Murray. The tribute band will send a salute to Petty’s musical legacy, performing over four decades of the artists’ discography on July 26.

Gaining fame from his 12th place finish on American Idol, singer David Hernandez will bring his soulful vocal melodies and affable personality on July 25 and chart-topping country artist Neal McCoy will wrap up the main stage performances on Saturday, July 27.

Musical performances won’t be the only spectacle to catch on stage — the Main Stage Movies make a comeback this year, with screenings of the 2004 animated classic "The Incredibles," as well as the brand new animated comedy "Kung Fu Panda 4."

Admission for the fair is free, where guests can ride exhilarating roller coasters, indulge in decadent food and check out animal attractions.
