Beaumont grads, a galaxy unto their own
Beaumont High School celebrated the commencement of its Class of 2024 with a ceremony on Thursday, June 6. Prior to graduates walking up to collect their diplomas, the school announced multilingualist Isabella Flores, National Honor Society member Hailey Mayfield and Big Buddies volunteer Micah Williams as winners of this year’s Golden B honor, bestowed upon graduating seniors nominated by faculty based on their exhibition of good character.
Colton Corner: Class of 2024 calls it a career at Colton High
The commencement ceremony for the 28 Colton High School seniors and four Colton Virtual Academy seniors of the class of 2024 was held in the CHS football stadium on the evening of June 8. Cultural Alliance awards scholarships
The Cultural Alliance of the Pass recently awarded three scholarships to local students Nani Patterson, Sarai Valencia and Jordan Amis. The scholarships were for $500 each. Each year the Cultural Alliance presents scholarships to graduating seniors who intend to pursue a career in the arts — one student each from Banning and Beaumont high schools. Cultural Alliance of the Pass Executive Director Jackie Atwood led in the search for candidates, scouring through stacks of applications.
