HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Two people are accused of assaulting a Walmart employee in High Point on Monday.

Trevon Waden and Tomeisha Robbs were arrested after allegedly assaulting a 68-year-old employee who works at the entrance to the home and garden section at the Walmart on 2628 S. Main St., according to a High Point Police Department incident report.

Suspect charged after fatal Stokesdale shooting, sheriff’s office says

The worker stopped Tomeisha Robbs to check her receipt at the door.

About 20 minutes later, Waden told the victim that he was upset that he had stopped his girlfriend earlier at the exit.

The victim said he was just doing his job. Robbs told Waden to “take care of him,” and Waden punched the employee in his left eye.

The victim then fell to the ground and hit his head.

Robbs and Waden then left the Walmart without helping the victim, the report says.

They have both been charged with assault.
