Virginia bluegrass artists to perform in Henrico Sports & Events Center’s first-ever concert

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The first-ever concert to be held at the Henrico Sports & Events Center has been announced, featuring two Virginia bluegrass bands.

The center, located at 11000 Telegraph Road, has announced its inaugural concert — “Sips & Springs” — will take the stage on June 21 at 6 p.m., with doors to open a half-hour beforehand.

According to a May 1 press release, Virginia bluegrass bands South Hill Banks and The Harwell Grice Band will headline.

Tickets are officially on sale as of Wednesday and can be purchased on Ticketmaster . They are $20 each until the week of the concert, at which point they will increase to $25.

The Henrico Sports & Events Center officially opened in late 2023 and has been hosting a variety of events ever since.
