Multiple trucks stolen overnight being sought in Panola County
PANOLA COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - The Panola County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of truck theft Friday morning. The thefts occurred overnight on the south and east sides of Panola County, the sheriff said in a release. Deputies initially responded to a report of an abandoned flatbed trailer in the middle of CR 170, shortly after 5 a.m. While en route, they were notified the trailer had been stolen, along with a white Ford pickup. The trailer was recovered, but the truck is still missing.

Longtime Great Texas Balloon Race volunteer remembered
LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - A 30 year veteran of the Great Texas Balloon race is being remembered after his passing on Thursday. He was involved with the Great Texas Balloon Race since 1990, eventually serving on the board of directors. Larry Aldridge died today after an illness. KLTV spoke with a longtime friend and fellow board member who said Aldridge was part of race founder Bill Bussey’s crew for many years, and poured his heart and soul into the event.

Blue team rallies to tie Red in FCA softball game
WHITEHOUSE — The Blue Team rallied from an 8-0 deficit to force an 8-8 tie in the Northeast Texas FCA Heart of a Champion All-Star Softball Game. The Blue Team trailed 8-3 going to the bottom of the eighth inning. An RBI single by Jaci Taylor (Henderson) followed by an RBI double from Addison Wittram (Malakoff) cut the score to 8-5 with one out.
