New traffic signal set to be activated April 25 in Panola County
PANOLA COUNTY, Texas (KSLA) — Weather permitting, a new traffic signal is set to be activated Thursday at State Highway 149 at State Highway 315 in Carthage, Texas. “Activation of the new signal is scheduled for Thursday, April 25,” said Christina Trowler, director of transportation operations for the Texas Department of Transportation’s Atlanta District . “We advise motorists to use extra caution as they approach the intersection while the public adjusts to the newly signalized intersection.”
Upshur County deputies seize more than 160 grams of meth during traffic stop
UPSHUR COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A Kilgore man is in jail and more than 160 grams of methamphetamine have been seized following a traffic stop. According to a report by the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday investigators with a special investigation unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Gerald Hosea Gibson of Kilgore. The investigators allege that 163 grams of meth and $2,343 were discovered in Gibson’s vehicle.

KILGORE, Texas (KLTV) - Kilgore police report an arrest resulting from a home invasion that occurred on Wednesday night. The alleged invasion happened at an apartment in the 600 block of Harris Street, according to police.
