Henderson police search for robber who shot business owner
HENDERSON, Texas (KLTV) - Henderson police are searching for a man who reportedly shot a business owner during a robbery Friday. According to a Monday release, officers responded to Rosita’s Conexion Latina in the 1500 block of West Main Street after shots fired were reported on Friday. They said the owner of the business had been injured by the shots, and the shooter had fled on foot. On Wednesday, the department released a composite sketch of the person of interest based on witness descriptions.

Power restored to most in East Texas after storms impact region
A storm system moved through East Texas on Sunday, leaving thousands without power and leaving residents and officials dealing with the storm's aftermath. Smith County experienced heavy rainfall, strong winds and severe thunderstorms.
