For the first time ever, the Hayward High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization has members who have qualified for national competition.

The journey started back in February when members attended the regional competition at Chippewa Falls High School. Members competed in a variety of business events against several other schools in our region with the top four places advancing to the state competition.

Hayward had 10 members participate at the FBLA state competition on April 8-9 in Green Bay at the KI Convention Center. Three of those members qualified and will advance to the national competition in Orlando, Florida June 29-July 2.

Brock Titus is advancing to Nationals in the Financial Statement Analysis category. Brock also served as the State Secretary/Treasurer for FBLA this year and is the local chapter President.

Victoria dos Santos and Addison Werner are advancing in the Graphic Design category.

Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. is a nonprofit 501©(3) education association with active middle school, high school, and college chapters worldwide. FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.

The association is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. For more information, visit fbla.org.
