Car fire halts traffic near Taylor County Expo Center
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A section of Loop 322 was closed due to a car fire. The car was fully engulfed in flames in the southbound lane of Loop 322. Traffic was directed to exit near Expo Drive. It's almost time for the 35th annual Friends of the Library Book Sale in Abilene
ABILENE, Texas — The 35th annual Friends of the Library Book Sale for Abilene is set for June 20-23 at the Abilene Convention Center, 1100 N. 6th St. There will be a large selection of books, audiobooks, records, DVDs and more with proceeds benefiting the Abilene Public Library. This sale is a highly-anticipated event in the community, the City of Abilene said in a news release, where thousands come out to build their personal libraries without breaking the bank.
