Missouri softball walks off Omaha in NCAA Regional championship, will host super regional
The Tigers scrapped and clawed. They stuck around and stuck it out. Missouri softball looked the end in the eye four times. And, at their home regional, they held their gaze. Missouri softball, the No. 7 national seed, advanced out of the NCAA Columbia Regional, walking off Omaha for a 1-0, nine-inning win in the championship on Sunday at Mizzou Softball Stadium — the Tigers’ second win over the Mavericks of the day and their fourth straight win. Laurin Krings tossed a near superhuman game with 15 strikeouts in the complete-game shutout.
Indiana softball falls in NCAA tournament regional to close its season
Indiana softball's 2024 season came to an end May 18 as the team fell to Missouri in the NCAA tournament regional. After repeatedly showing its toughness to come back in games and keep their heads high throughout the season, the Hoosiers had no gas left when they arrived in Columbia, Missouri.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Washington softball's season came to a close in the Columbia Regional following a hard-fought 4-1 loss against host and No. 7 national seed Missouri on Saturday night. The Huskies finish the season with a record of 32-15. Washington tallied six hits on the night led by Rylee Holtorf with two. Jillian Celis, Kinsey Fiedler, Sydney Stewart and Avery Hobson all notched hits.
