Petersens announce final Branson Patreon Reunion
One of Branson’s premier performing families has announced a major change to their annual Branson events. The Petersens announced on their Patreon page they will be ending their annual gathering of Patreon supporters from around the globe with this year’s event, scheduled for July 11-14.
Branson's new Fire Station 4 aims to improve response times in southwest part of town
One year after breaking ground in southwest Branson, Fire Station 4 is ready to serve the city. The $5 million facility on Champagne Boulevard, funded by a 1/20-cent public sales tax imposed in 2017, was unveiled to the public Wednesday in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Instead of traditional scissors to cut the fabric, officials used the Jaws of Life.

2024 AMA National Enduro Round 3 Results
Consistent rain all week led to a wet and challenging enduro for the third annual Red Line Oil Black Buffalo National Enduro in Kingston, Arkansas. The area received multiple inches of rain during the week, including a quick, harsh storm on Saturday afternoon. The Sunday race also received rain for much of the 55-mile, six-test event.
Retromania Live bringing the 80s to Branson
The end of August in Branson is going to give visitors and guests a chance to party hearty with a totally tubular music festival that will be anything but grody to the max. Retromania Live will be a five-day music festival from August 21 through August 25 at various locations, but focused mainly at the Mansion Theatre in Branson. The festival will feature multiple 80s rock stars along with multiple special events including 80s movies at 80s prices, artist meet and greets, after party concerts and events, and a special Silver Dollar City wrapup day.
El Mago No Go: Spanish magician quietly cancels 2024 Branson events
After coming into Branson with great fanfare in 2023, a Spanish magician has quietly canceled any appearances in the city in 2024, with a vague promise of shows in 2025. Antonio Diaz, a.k.a. El Mago Pop, along with his production team purchased the former Mel Tillis Theater and announced plans to turn it into the Branson Magic Theater. Diaz told Branson Tri-Lakes News in May 2023 he wanted the city to be his American base of operations.
Hollister working to upgrade GIS mapping system
Hollister residents could potentially spot city workers in their neighborhoods in upcoming days, as the city prepares to upgrade its GIS mapping system. GIS, short for Geographic Information System, creates, analyzes and maps various types of data. The system connects data to a map and provides descriptive information which helps the city with infrastructure management and efficiency.
