350-unit apartment community along Greenville’s Church Street sold to The Dinerstein Companies

The Dinerstein Companies has acquired South Ridge, a 350-unit apartment community across from the Greenville County Square Redevelopment. The Texas-based real estate company purchased the 8.7-acre property at 823 S. Church St. from RailField Partners for an undisclosed sum. Northmarq represented the Maryland-based seller in the transaction and arranged a three-year bridge loan for the buyer through AllianceBernstein.

Greenville bus company serving major sports teams is sold

A Greenville-based company that serves sports teams across the United States has been sold after nearly three decades. Champion Coach , a bus charter company, has been acquired by family equity firm Hoffmann Family of Companies , according to a news release. Champion Coach was founded in 1998 by Craig Dance and his wife, Hazel. The company began with four white motorcoaches and has since grown into a name in sports and corporate transportation, serving professional and collegiate sports teams across the country, according to the release. "I couldn't be happier to welcome the Dance family into Hoffmann Transportation," said Tim Rose, president of Hoffmann Transportation. "For nearly 30 years, Champion has earned the trust of some of the biggest names in professional and collegiate sports with a level of professionalism, safety and hospitality that's unrivaled in our industry.
