Medical Lake trees planted by students to replace those lost in wildfires
MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. - Fifth graders at Hallett Elementary School have planted trees to replace ones that were burned in the wildfires last year. When the Gray Fires happened last year, the fire was only a couple of feet away from the school before it stopped. Students are doing this as part of a service-learning project and will look to continue the tradition every year.
