Three arrested in connection to murder of Marshall teen
MARSHALL, Texas (KTAL/KSHV) – Three people are facing murder charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in Marshall. Multiple agencies are investigating the murder of 13-year-old Tristian Phelps on April 28. Authorities said 20-30 shots were fired at Phelps on the 1100 block of Sanford St. He was taken to CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center – Marshall, where he later died of his wounds.

Semi crashes, catches fire on I-20 near Longview
GREGG COUNTY, Texas — Officials are working to clear the scene after an 18-wheeler crashed and caught fire on I-20 near Longview. According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the wreck occurred near mile marker 583, between SH 135 and FM 2207, just south of Liberty City. The inside lane is open and the outside is closed.
